A Closer Look at FARIS

Founded by Faris du Graf in Oakland, CA

There’s something wonderfully sculptural about FARIS jewelry. Bold without being loud, organic without feeling overly delicate, each piece has the presence of a small object pulled from an artist’s studio.

Founded by Faris du Graf, FARIS began in Oakland with a decidedly hands-on approach to making. What started as an exploration of jewelry became an evolving practice in form, texture, and material. One that still feels intuitive and a little unexpected.

Today, the Seattle-based studio creates each collection with the same sense of curiosity. Designs are developed in-house, with an emphasis on experimentation and craftsmanship rather than mass production. Leftover castings are repurposed, metals are recycled, and pieces are made with intention rather than excess.

The appeal is in that balance: jewelry that feels artful, but never too precious. Sculptural shapes, unexpected proportions, and tactile finishes make FARIS feel less like something you simply wear and more like something you collect.

The kind of jewelry you don’t just wear, but collect.
